I have mentioned a site called fixedgeargallery quite a few times. They have pictures of different fixies and i was waiting to paint mine to submit it. Well I submitted it and it is on the site. One problem though I guess something went wrong with my pictures and there are only pictures of my bike before it was powdercoated. Oh well I guess. Lo-Fi-Fnk

First of all I have come the realization that Ray Lamontagne has a great voice but his music is kinda girly. By that I mean that I think mostly girls listen to it. I do like the song entitled"Trouble" If you are offended by this ..... oh well. (Thanks for the advice Riley)

Anyway on to something new. Youtube suggested I watch a video of a band called Lo-Fi-Fnk, and I like. It has an electronic feel to it, but it doesn't get too overboard if you know what I mean. Anyway check it out. This song is decent (by that I mean it makes me want to dance!)

I just found out about this guy from a friend off facebook. I listened to a bunch of his songs on youtube then I feel asleep for like 2 hours! That means that it is good right?! Here is a cover he does of Gnarles Barkley's "Crazy"

What to do with my 3rd gen. Ipod

I have a 40 gb Ipod that has been sitting in a drawer for a number of years. The battery didn't hold a charge for more than 30 minutes.

I used to use it strictly for my car. I had an alpine radio that hooked directly to the Ipod and it would charge it so I never had a problem. Well I got a new car and I left the old radio in my old car. My new car has a Pioneer stereo which has a usb input but the 3rd gen. Ipod wont charge on a usb Ipod cord. They came with a firewire cord and that is the only thing they can charge on. So I recently decided to find out what I could do with it. I found a replacement battery on laptopsforless.com for 0.74 cents. Thats right 74 cents. Shipping was like 6 bucks. So I got the battery in the mail today and switched it out taking pictures of everything and guess what ...... no sd card in the camera so I had pictures of the whole process but I don't anymore. The good news is that I got it all back together and it is charging away. The directions say that it needs a minimum of 3 hours of charging before I can use it so I hope it works. My plan is to "hack" it. There are a number of things you can do with it when hacked. There are a bunch of games and applications you can install on it so that it is more functional. I would love to find some kind of hack that will allow it to charge with a usb cable instead of the firewire.

This is getting out of hand

Ok I just got a Verizon email. This was the title .. "IPhone 4. Verizon. It Begins." Seriously?! It begins? Come on this whole Iphone 4 thing is getting way out of line. There are tons of other phones out there that blow the Iphone 4 out of the water. People just buy it for the looks (I do think it looks cool!)

Yikes Bike

I am finding tons of cool stuff today! So here is a pretty cool bike. I like it because it folds up so nicely. I would never buy one because it defeats the purpose of having a bike. (purpose of having a bike = going anywhere you want under your own power) Nonetheless it is still pretty cool

Velodrome in Utah

I just found out that there used to be a Velodrome here in Utah. I never knew! I love my Fixie

I got a call this morning from the powder coating place and they said there were finished with my bike. I went to pick it up and it looks great!!!! I brought it home and started putting it together again. The hardest part with getting the bottom bracket back on because there was some powder coat it the threads. Once I got that all cleaned out it was smooth sailing from there and now it is all back together again!! I think it turned out great I also put a bunch of stickers on the forks and cut the handle bars down. I want to put some stickers or something on the bike to break up all the black, but I don't know what to put.
